Your card is a prepaid electronic money card which contains the value that we have preloaded.

 

Activation

Your card may already have been activated by the award provider of this card and if so you should have received notification of this.

If you have a card that requires activation, you will be sent a letter with an activation code by separate cover.
Activate your card online by going to the homepage and clicking on the ‘Activate your card’ link or by calling Customer Services on 01244 625 380. Please note that your card cannot be used until it has been activated.
If you haven’t received your activation code within 7 days of receiving your card, please call Customer Services.

 

Using your card

Once activated, your card is ready for you to use in full or part payment at the retailers outlined on this website.
If you try to use your card at any other store it will be declined.
Your card is not a chip and pin card, therefore you will need to sign the back of your card when you receive it. 
You will not receive any change from any of your purchases but any balance remaining may be applied to future purchases.
Where applicable, this card can be used to make internet and phone purchases.
Refunds cannot be transacted on an expired card; however the retailer may offer you their own vouchers or a credit note as an alternative.
Your card cannot be used at an ATM or to obtain cash back in a store.
Damaged, altered or cancelled cards will not be accepted by retailers.
Your card and any balance remaining will expire on the date printed on the card.
You will not be entitled to a refund of any unused funds after this date.
You can check your balance at any time online by going to the homepage and clicking on the ‘Balance enquiry’ link or by calling Customer Services on 01244 625 380.


Keeping your card safe

You should treat the e-money on your card like cash in a wallet.  If you lose your card or it is stolen you may lose any e-money on it in just the same way as if you lost your wallet.
You should never allow anyone else to use your card.
Please note that you will need to keep a record of your card number for balance enquiries or to report your card lost or stolen, as we may not store any personal information about you.
This card is not redeemable for cash, neither is it a credit, charge or cheque guarantee card.
If this card is used at a participating store in Eire, a foreign exchange charge will be applied to the purchase.

 

Cancellation, complaints and expiry of your card

If you need a replacement card for any reason, please contact Customer Services.  We can block or cancel your card if we suspect that your card may be used in a negligent or unlawful manner.  The card and any balance remaining will expire at the date printed on the card. You will not be entitled to a refund of any unused funds.  If you have a complaint about this product, please refer to the terms and conditions page for more details on the procedure or contact Customer Services on 01244 625 380.

 

Lost and stolen

If you lose your card, if it is stolen, or if you think it has been used without your permission, please contact Customer Services. 
If you later find your card, please contact Customer Services on 01244 625 380 again as soon as possible.
